Scientific Principles & Governance Rules
Understanding the operational criteria, verification standards, and environmental frameworks that guide every action in Paryavaran Prahri.
Strict Legal Non-Ownership
Trees are public environmental assets stewarded for collective clean air and biodiversity. Neither vehicle owners, insurers, nor platform operators hold ownership rights. Participants gain transparent stewardship logs, not property titles.
Native Canopy Prioritization
Ecosystem survival over cosmetic numbers. Plantation selects strictly drought-resilient and bird-nesting native Indian broadleaf species suitable for Madhya Pradesh soil profiles (Azadirachta indica, Ficus religiosa, Syzygium cumini, Millettia pinnata).
Multi-Seasonal Monitoring
The first 24 to 36 months are critical. The protocol enforces mandatory watering cycles during arid pre-monsoon months and root bed mulching to establish deep subterranean root structures.
Cryptographic ID Verification
Each tree is indexed with a deterministic Tree ID bound to exact latitude/longitude coordinates and batch metadata, preventing double-counting or fictitious survival claims.
Failure Accounting
Mortality is an honest reality of biological systems. When saplings are lost to extreme weather or urban disturbance, our framework requires documenting the loss, analyzing causes, and executing replacement planting during the next monsoon cycle.
Community Agency
Conservation succeed only when local residents have pride and purpose. We prioritize ground agency, paying honorariums to local Paryavaran Mitras to cultivate lasting neighbourhood care.
Scientific Rigour Note: Our frameworks are continuously refined alongside regional university researchers and field botanists during the Indore pilot. We publish real learnings to help cities across India replicate honest urban forestry.
