Mobile Tech on the Ground
How our lightweight mobile workflow allows Paryavaran Mitras to record high-accuracy geo-spatial markers, capture timestamped imagery, and report tree status offline.
Offline-First Field Architecture
Urban peripheries often face spotty network coverage. The field app stores location coordinates, timestamps, and camera inputs locally on the mobile device, syncing automatically once a secure connection is detected.
High-Accuracy Geo-Tagging
The application leverages multi-constellation GNSS sensors (GPS, GLONASS, NavIC) with accuracy confidence scoring. Mitras are instructed to await minimum satellite lock before finalizing sapling registration.
Watermarked Photographic Proof
Every photo snapped through the app embeds cryptographic EXIF data, including azimuth orientation, altitude, timestamp, and hardware identifiers, preventing the re-upload of old or recycled photos.
How a Field Mitra Uses the App
Arrive at Micro-Site
Mitra navigates to the assigned planting sector and triggers satellite acquisition.
Scan Tree ID Tag
A physical durable tag on the protective guard is scanned to link the unique identifier.
Capture State
Mitra selects health metrics (vigor, foliage, moisture) and takes standard perspective photos.
Submit Record
The inspection package is synced to the central database, generating a public log event.
Field App Access: The mobile application is an operational field tool restricted to credentialed Paryavaran Mitras and coordinators. Public participants can view all resulting data transparently on the website.
