How Paryavaran Prahri Operates
Turning everyday vehicular participation into verifiable, lasting environmental guardianship through five structured, audited operational steps.
Participation Scale: One eligible 4-wheeler policy corresponds to care responsibility for 5 trees. One eligible 2-wheeler policy corresponds to care responsibility for 1 tree. This is a non-commercial stewardship commitment and evidence log, not a tree ownership claim.
INSURE
A vehicle owner obtains or renews an eligible vehicle insurance policy through participating partner channels. This enrolment triggers an environmental stewardship pledge without added complexity.
ASSIGN
The system automatically calculates and assigns the corresponding tree count (5 trees for 4-wheelers, 1 tree for 2-wheelers). Unique Tree IDs and baseline tracking records are generated.
PLANT
Native, ecologically viable saplings are planted in designated public and community zones within the pilot area during appropriate planting seasons under expert supervision.
GUARD
Paryavaran Mitras (local community stewards) take charge of field protection, watering schedules, pest observation, fencing inspection, and geo-tagged visual check-ins using the dedicated field application.
NURTURE & VERIFY
Stewardship continues over multiple seasons. Periodic field observations, soil notes, and survival updates are logged into the permanent record to ensure absolute transparency and ongoing learning.
Planting is Only the First Mile
Conventional mass plantation campaigns often focus on day-one totals while neglecting follow-through. Paryavaran Prahri shifts the paradigm by treating planting as stage 3 of 5. The true value lies in sustained guardianship, honest reporting of challenges, and local community stewardship.
